U. S. MADE HEAVY DUTY ROPING SADDLE 16 SMOOTH SEAT ROPER SADDLE RAWHIDE EDGES

This is a really nice roping saddle made in the usa!! It is a 16 highback smooth seated roper that is heavy duty made and very comfortable to sit and ride in!! This seat fits you like a glove and has no rough edges or bumps to rub you. You sit right in the pocket and can ride all day. It has rough out fenders that have a little grip and will wear like iron, is medium oil colored, & has generous length tie strings so you can take things along for your days ride or work. It has a rawhide edge on the top of the cantle for strength and easy hold area while mounting and rawhide also around the edge of the saddle horn for stability and makes for an easy grab. It has heavy duty rawhide roping stirrups that are leather laced. It comes complete with a good quality rear cinch and good leather billet and off billet. It has heavy duty rings for the rigging tied up into the tree of the saddle. The saddle horn is wrapped in leather. The saddle measurements are 16″ seat, 13 1/2″ pommel width side to side, 4-4 1/2″ cantle height, 8″ gullet measured from the front outside leather across each side, or 7 gullet measured from the inside of the sheepskin/fleece underneath the saddle where saddle will actually sit on pad touching the horse. This is a really well made heavy duty saddle with makers mark of wts and model # of 0551 on the billet keeper. I included a picture of the makers stamp. I had not heard of this maker, but in looking at the quality of the workmanship and quality of leather used i can tell you that this is a nice saddle that will last for lots and lots of miles and years to come.The item “U.
