Vintage 16 Circle Y Western Show Saddle For Repair, Parts or Decoration-Damaged

This circle y saddle is a an older very nice 16 seat equitation or show saddle. It has beautiful tooling and has the silver engraved corner plates, horn cap and conchos as well as the silver lacing on both the pommel and the cantle. There is a name plate on the cheyenne roll that is engraved scs. It has a nice wide gullet and full quarter horse bars. The gullet measures 9″ across and the length of the skirt is about 28″. It looks like about a 3 1/2 cantle. It also has both front and back dee rings for breastcollars and trail bags, etc. The tree is nice and solid and the seat appears to have been suede but it pretty much worn down with use. It looks like rawhide stitching on the edges of the seat and the tooling is the oak leaf style. Beautifully saddle made in yoakum, tx. The serial number is 2966 1087 02. There is a picture of it as well. Weight is about 32 lbs. The problem is on the lacing on the cantle on the end on the right where it looks like it was damaged somehow or possibly dropped. The cantle is a bit loose too. Not sure what happened there but i have a picture of it. It’s the 2nd picture listed. It could probably be fixed or it could be used for parts or decoration.
