This is a quality used cutting saddle that is also good for pleasure and trail riding. Built to last by Dale Martin Saddlery Saddlery of Greenville, Texas. The Dale Martin maker stamp is on the cinch keeper and under the skirts on each side of the saddle. It has a 15.5 to 16 inch padded seat (depending on how you measure), and quarter horse bars with a gullet measuring about 7 inches see pictures to verify measurements. The tree is rawhide covered and solid and sound, the horn is tight, and the liner is good. The stirrup leathers are the quality ones with the double overlay over the adjustment holes but the ends have been cut off to eliminate bulkiness and eliminate the lowest one or two adjustment holes. It also has quality classic wooden stirrups. This saddle was oiled early this spring and comes fully rigged to ride with all the rigging shown in the pictures! Good used leather cinch strap, off billets, good leather flank girth, and brand new front girth. Shows signs of use and wear, but this is a great used saddle built to last by a reputable maker, heavy duty weighing about 38 pounds.
