Reinforced skirt at the girth strap rigging (see picture). Real blevins style buckles………. Not cheap belt buckle type (see picture). Skirt, fenders and overskirt of strong cordora nylon. Neoprene foam backing between skirt and fleece, to protect and cushion horse. Leather with nylon reinforced stirrup/fender straps. Prevents holes from stretching. Quality dense foam padded leather seat. Reinforced double thick girth straps. We supply 2 full length 2 ply girth strap for crossfire rigging. You can google crossfire rigging for instructions. Now includes really nice wide endurance stirrups. That’s the only complaint I’ve had on this saddle. Most people want endurance stirrups. Will fit short back horses. Crossfire rigging has become very popular for many gaited riders. I have added some new pictures to show as much detail as possible on this saddle. The leather is not sanded, filled, or touched up. The surface of the leather is original just as it came from the cow. There may be some slight imperfections on the leather. This is natural on full grain hides. They are extremely slight and do not affect the use or wear of the saddle. If you are a perfectionists and cannot accept anything less than perfection, we can make one special for you from carefully selected leather. We will charge extra because of the waste.
