The classic chestnut color features a 3/4 hand carved basket tooled design with a top quality wood wade tree that is wrapped in rawhide for strength, durability, and weather protection. The strong 7/8 position flat plate rigging is a great comprise between on-tree and in-skirt rigging, giving you the close contact ride for optimum horse and rider communication while still maintaining strength and durability within the saddle. A solid wrapped post horn is durable enough for any kind of roping on top of a 9 wade style swell ideal for freedom of leg movement and comfort. The 4 cantle is trimmed with a rawhide pencil roll binding and the saddle is finished with rawhide roper stirrups and brass hardware. The saddle is stamped with Billy Cook in Sulphur, OK on the fenders, cantle, skirt, and seat. This well built saddle looks and rides just like a custom saddle and is worth every penny! Tack and cinches not included. Tree: Wade rawhide covered, full QH bars. Seat Size: 15″, 15 1/2″ and 16, hard seat. Horn: Post horn with wrap (3.5″ tall x 3.5″ top). Swell: 9 leather covered. Cantle: 4 rawhide bound. Rigging: 7/8 position Flat plate rigging with brass hardware. Skirts: Synthetic wool lined. Skirt Length: 26 1/4. Stirrups: Comes with rawhide roper stirrups (32 – 40 with room for adjustments). Pattern: 3/4 basket stamped. Weight: Approximately 42 lbs.
