. Everyone seems to measure the gullet differently so I have come up with a measuring devise that allows you to see the measurement that you want to see. The wood measuring gauge is shoved in tight, leather to leather. It should give you an idea of the size. To check on your horse, Take a folding ruler, open it to a 90 degree angle and lay it over the horses withers, or wherever you want the saddle to sit. Then measure the distance between where the ruler touches and compare to the picture. Skirt Type; Single

. Tree/Horn; Very solid but lacing covering horn has been lost. Additional Notes & Description; This saddle has been used by an outrider at a racetrack. Over the years horses have bit the horn and wore away the lacing that one cover the horn. The horn is as solid as ever, just uncovered. It can be re-covered easily. It is a great saddle for barrel racing, training or pleasure/trail riding. It needs a good cleaning to dress it up, but other than that, its a great little saddle. Except for the horn, I see nothing wrong with it, but I can’t see everything sometimes. It comes with a front onside girth strap. It looks good, but no guarantees on the strap.
