Tasteful hand border tooling. Calf leather, foam padded seat. Leather with nylon reinforced stirrup/fender straps. Prevents holes from stretching. High density foam padded leather seat. Cheyenne cantle roll (great when you need to grab onto something). Lots of latigo ties. Aluminum padded endurance stirrups. Angled rear D’s for “cross fire rigging”. Double ply girth straps for extra strength and wear. Double girth D for full, 7/8 and 3/4. 5/8 optional if you use cross fire rigging. Lots of choices with this rigging. We use quality leather. If you are not familiar with the term “full grain”…….. Its the best quality surface finish of leather available. Not filled, not shaved, not sanded… Chosen for its smooth natural quality. This saddle is supplied with 2 double ply girth straps for cross fire rigging. If you prefer regular rigging. I have been riding gaited horses (TWH) since 1973. I not only ride but I show and breed TWH in Shelbyville TN. Shelbyville is the home of the TWH. This smooth gaited was developed over the last 150 years or more in Bedford County TN and the surrounding area. But, I designed this saddle to fit. I had over 20 TWH up until about 2 years ago when the economy crashed. I designed this saddle to fit the TWH, SSH, and other Southern Gaited Breeds. I designed it with a cutaway skirt so it did not impede the rear action. The flared gullet is my design. It keeps the weight and pressure off the shoulders so it does not impede the shoulder action. It has double rigging. It has angled rear D for crossfire rigging. This allows you to rig the girth in whatever position is best for your horse. Support a true hobbyist not a giant corporation.
