15″ Billy Cook Barrel Saddle #1526 6-1/2″ gullet, Semi QH Bars, 23 Skirt, 24 pounds. Serial no: 97 4188. Lovely saddle with basketweave tooling, rough out fenders and jockeys, soft padded suede seat and rawhide trim, plus hand engraved silver conchos that nicely dress it up! Made in Sulpher, Oklahoma. These older saddles are nicer made and better quality!! Saddle was not used much and all the rough-out is still “rough”, not smoothed over. Saddle is very clean!! Comes with a leather latigo strap and off billet and a new Billy Cook string cinch. It has a couple nicks in the pomal where it came off the saddle rack in the trailer.
