This 2000 model Crates Trail saddle is the perfect trail partner. Perfectly broken in, soft leather, strings everywhere, brass rigging, and a nice chestnut color… Really, you can’t go wrong with this beauty! Per its serial number, it is on semi bars, with its gullet measuring 6.5 inches with a pretty substantial fork angle, making it a great option for a strong withered, heavy shouldered mount. It measures and fits true to a 15 inch, has a 25.5 inch skirt, and is on a ralide tree, making it a nice trail option that isn’t quite so heavy. This saddle has seen some ride time, so has scuffs and scraps, but true to Crates craftsmanship, has aged well and is only going to keep riding for decades more.
