This is a beautiful saddle and it has been well taken care of. The leather is strong and is in great condition. The stitching is also strong and in good shape. The suede of the seat shows a little wear in the places where a pair of jeans would be rubbing against it while riding, but these areas are not visible when a person is seated in the saddle. There are no tears or scratches to the leather or suede. The decorative pieces that accent the saddle have a background color of silver and are accented with detailed engraved appliques of a light yellow gold color. The front of each stirrup has been decorated with the same two tone metal engravings. The metal pieces on the stirrups have begun to separate a little from where they are attached to the leather, this is more visible on the left stirrup (see picture). The fleece is clean and in good condition. This saddle has 3-way rigging and can be rigged up in three different ways: in the full, 7/8 or 3/4 positions, allowing for more flexibility for saddle fit, and making the saddle more useful for a variety of different shaped horses and types of riding. Just remember the rigging must be the same on both sides. This saddle has full quarter bars and would be a good fit for a stocky horse. Weight of saddle is 35 lbs.
