15 Vintage King Saddle Shop Western Roping Saddle

As show season and events are starting back up, we are trying to get everyone ready. That means we will be offering new items daily. Today we are offering this vintage King Saddle Shop western roping saddle for sale. King saddles are made here in the USA in Sheridan, Wyoming. Don King started making quality saddles in 1946 and that tradition has been passed down through the family. There is no doubt that this is one built older saddle. It has a 15 inch smooth leather seat that is embroidered. It is tooled with a oak leaf and acorn pattern. The fenders do have a horse head tooled on them. It does have buck-stitching on the entire saddle. The leather is clean and flexible. The stirrup leathers have not been cut though someone has punched a few extra holes. The genuine sheepskin lining has no holes or wear spots. We have included a tie-strap and off-billet so your ready to ride. The bull-hide wrapped tree is ROCK solid. The horn has no wiggle or wobble. Overall skirt length is 27 inches. Overall weight is 39 pounds. THE ONLY THINGS WE MUST POINT OUT IS: One string by the keeper is broken and there is some stitching on both leathers that is ripped.
