Child or Youth Leather Tooled Western Saddle 12.5 Needs Cleaning & Oil

Vintage used child’s or youth western saddle. I would call it a size 12. I measured from below the big horn to the seat stitching – 11.75.

From below the horn to the rolled back edge of seat – 12.5. Needs some tlc – dusting, cleaning and oil! Seat is tight and sound for any kind of riding on the saddle.

Has 4 sets of leather ties. Underside is in good condition.

There is a buckle end or receiving strap missing on left near front. A double leather rosette and screw missing on right side, just below curved back of seat. The existing leather straps and embellishments are good… Just need some leather care. I have had this saddle for about 2 years and never put it to use. I was going to create a wooden practice “horse” for my grandchildren… But i never got to that project. Anyway it has been just gathering dust up on a rack in the tack room… It needs a new home!
