15.5 Seat Hereford Tex Tan Equitation Saddle Lovely light oil withbuckstitching

Please read description and look at all pictures : Hereford brand 15 1/2 deep seat western reining/equitation saddle. USA made in Yoakum, Texas by Tex Tan. GOOD QUALITY 15 1/2 saddle hand built back when top quality really mattered! Look at the pics of the beautiful tooling all over this! Has pretty buckstitching too, and it’s all in place. 25 1/2″L x 24″ W skirts have round corners. Both fenders have Hereford brand stamp. Near side stirrup leather has model 13191 & serial # 80-15285 stamped. Rawhide covered tree has 6 1/2 gullet (prox). I believe this was made for athletic show horses rather than heavy built chunks. Clean chap leather seat raised at front to place you securelyly for turns and stops. Rawhide tipped horn is 2″H x 3″W, small & low w/ a slight forward tilt to keep it out of your way until needed. Stirrups are in great shape and are the original ones, tooled to match. (see pic) Weighs 30# (prox) No tears or stains in seat(see close-up pic) Bulk free in-skirt rigging with a strong slot at rear. (see pic) Comes with good leather tie strap & off-billet. (see pics) Has breast collar dees set in rawhide tabs but off-side metal ring is missing. 3 tall cantle for security, wide cantle rim. Al Ray style adjustment buckles. Color is a good looking shade of medium golden brown. There are no cosmetic scuffs or marks on this saddle. Fleece is very clean, tree is sound and horn, cap & cantle are tight. The near side fender has been repaired at the bottom. Sewn strongly and backed by a piece of good leather it is as stout as ever and doesn’t show. Not weight bearing either. I posted a pic of this and can send more if you ask. Nothing needed, put it on a horse and ride it as it comes out of the box, just add your girth. Listed way below replacement cost.
