VINTAGE FLEMING STERLING SILVER & FILIGREE Saddle marked Santa Ynez Caliente

The conchos I removed were marked Fleming Sterling. I did not remove the filigree plates, as they are stitched into the skirt. When I bought this saddle years ago, the gentleman told me it was a vintage Caliente. There is a stamp behind the cantle that reads Santa Ynez and looks like Caliente, but I can’t tell for sure, could be California. Either way, good American made saddle with some real nice silver and pretty nice condition for the age. Please see below for additional information & measurements under Saddle Specs. Make Marked Santa Ynez. Rigging Close Contact 3 way Inskirt. Fender Adjustments Quick Change Blevin Slide Buckles. Stirrups Leather 4 Tread with Filigree Silver Trim. Conchos 8 on saddle & 2 on the stirrups. Trim 4 Filigree on Saddle & 1 piece on each Stirrup. Tooling leaves & acorns. Seat 15 1/2″ (measured 1″ below horn to first row of stitching on cantle). Gullet Full QH Bars app. Skirt 27 1/2 Bottom of Skirt, Front to Back. Cantle Deepest Point Inside Seat to top of cantle app. 4 1/2 ” & 3 1/2″ behind cantle.
