Barrel Racer – Original Bob Marshall treeless sport Saddle. A good saddle with quite bit of silver, beautiful hand tooled leather, rawhide covered horn with silver horn cap, silver laced cantle, and new black suede stirrup sleeves. I measure the leg openings to be 8.5″ which would makes the saddle a 14.5″ seat measured the Bob Marshall way if I measured correctly but do look over the photos and verify for yourself. There are various cosmetic imperfections as would be expected with a used saddle concho missing from hoof pick holder, small area of rawhide rubbed off near top of horn, etc. A previous owner must have been one serious barrel racer as they had the girth rigging professionally reinforced. Previous owner also added suede to the seat/jockeys for increased grip while barrel racing & the stirrups still have sticky residue to keep boots from slipping during high speeds and fast turns. I have provided multiple photos so that you may verify the measurements and condition of the saddle for yourself.
