Dixieland Gaited Saddle, 16, Silver, Endurance Model, 8 Gullet, Very Good Cond

After several years, and a lot of though, I have decided to sell my old show horse’s saddle. This saddle has a 16 inch suede seat; silver horn cap and swells, silver laced Cheyenne cantle and back conch. This saddle has been stored inside and has been very well taken care of. Felt lining underneath in very good condition. This saddle has been used on several different sized gaited horses without any problems. This saddle has a medium/wide gaited tree. The padded seat is very comfortable on the long trail rides. Amish made for Dixieland Gaited Saddles by Dan Hostetler. This saddle was made before Dixieland had their own logo so you will see a cowboy hat logo on the latigo keeper as well as the 16 seat marking. This seat is measured to the stitching but rides more like a 15 1/2 inch due to the padding. The saddle is made on gaited bars with good flare in the front. Please take time to review the photos. This is a used saddle and even though in very good to excellent condition there will be signs of normal wear. Silver: Horn cap (Indented), swell caps, silver laced cantle. Additional: Back cinch included-never used; saddle strings for tying on equipment; coachmen’s loops and D rings. Saddle strings back and front. Wide platform comfort trail stirrups. This is a quality well-made well-balanced saddle and they are not made in this fashion any longer. It was made to LAST a lifetime and then some.
